APiP ("we", "our", or "the App") is dedicated to providing a powerful multitasking experience while respecting your privacy. This policy outlines our data handling practices for the Advanced Picture-in-Picture application on Android TV.
APiP is designed as a local-first utility. We believe your data belongs to you. The App does not require a user account, and we do not collect, transmit, or sell any of your personal information to external servers or third parties.
Based on our application manifest, APiP utilizes the following sensitive permissions to provide its core functionality:
The App hosts a temporary web server on your local network (LAN) to allow remote control from a browser. This traffic is strictly confined to your home network. No communication with the public internet occurs during this process, and no logs of your remote activity are kept.
Your data security relies on your home network and device security. Because APiP does not use a cloud backend, there is no central database for hackers to target. We recommend keeping your Android TV firmware updated and your Wi-Fi network password-protected.
Our App is a general-purpose utility and does not collect any data. We do not knowingly target or collect information from children under the age of 13.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in Android requirements or app features. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
