APiP is designed as a local-first utility. We believe your data belongs to you. The App does not require a user account, and we do not collect, transmit, or sell any of your personal information to external servers or third parties.

• Stream URLs: Any IPTV, RTSP, or camera URLs you input are stored locally on your device's private storage. These are never synced to a cloud or viewed by the developer.
• App Settings: Configuration data, including window size, volume levels, and PiP coordinates, are stored locally via Android SharedPreferences.

The App hosts a temporary web server on your local network (LAN) to allow remote control from a browser. This traffic is strictly confined to your home network. No communication with the public internet occurs during this process, and no logs of your remote activity are kept.

5. Security

Your data security relies on your home network and device security. Because APiP does not use a cloud backend, there is no central database for hackers to target. We recommend keeping your Android TV firmware updated and your Wi-Fi network password-protected.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is a general-purpose utility and does not collect any data. We do not knowingly target or collect information from children under the age of 13.
