Lucian Zavoianu ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Apip - Remote app mobile application (the "Service"). This Service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as a remote control utility for stream management.

1. Information Collection and Use

We do not collect, store, or share any personal information on external servers. All information requested by the app remains strictly on your device.

• Local Network Discovery: The app utilizes the Bonsoir (mDNS) protocol to discover compatible servers on your private local network. This involves temporary processing of local IP addresses and service names.
• User-Defined Streams: URLs for streams (RTSP, HTTP, etc.) that you add to your "Stream Library" or "Favorites" are stored strictly in your device's local persistent storage (SharedPreferences).
• M3U Playlists: When you import or paste M3U content, the data is parsed and stored locally on your device.

2. Permissions

To provide core remote control functionality, the Service requires the following permissions:

• INTERNET: To send control commands (volume, position, size) to your selected local server.
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE & CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE: Necessary for the discovery engine to find servers on your local network automatically.
• LOCAL_NETWORK_ACCESS: Required by the operating system to communicate with other devices on your private network.

3. Security

We value your trust. Since the Service stores all configuration data locally on your device, we do not have access to it. We recommend using standard device security features, such as passcodes and biometrics, to protect your phone's storage.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service does not use any third-party services, advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or cookies that collect information used to identify you.

5. User Responsibility & Content

Apip - Remote app is a neutral tool. We do not provide, host, or curate any media streams or M3U playlists. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to access any stream sources they add to the application.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
